Starting martial arts and later transitioning to dance at the age of 7 , Zach studied at Beijing Baihui and Guangzhou Dance schools, both leading institutions in China for ballroom dance. He specialized in competitive ballroom dancing and served as a teaching assistant, laying a solid academic foundation.

At a young age, he went abroad to study under top mentors such as Donnie Burns and Espen Salberg. For more than a decade, he has continuously trained and exchanged with professional dancers and world-class artists in USA, Russia, UK, Germany, Italy, Denmark, and France. Through extensive travel and learning, he gradually integrated diverse dance styles and systems.

With over ten years of competitive experience, Zach has accumulated outstanding achievements. He was crowned Asia-Pacific Champion, and has won multiple awards at major international competitions, including:

Blackpool Dance Festival, UK Open Championships, The International Championships, World Championships, WDSF European Championships, German Open Championships (GOC)

Zach has taught in Beijing, Guangzhou, Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. He has been an instructor at prestigious institutions such as Fred Astaire and Dancing With Me, teaching students of all ages, including celebrities and professional competitors.

Specializes in International Latin and Standard Ballroom, while also proficient in Ballet and Contemporary dance.
